DESKTOP HAND CONTROL MICROPHONES
The Philips SpeechMike Classic, Pro, and Air will work on almost any PC running Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7.
The Philips SpeechMike and Olympus DirectRec models have a built-in sound card, providing excellent audio quality. Most PC’s and laptops already come with sound cards built-in, however often these sound cards are are built into the motherboard and as a result the audio quality is poor, and suffer from line hum and distortion. By using a Philips SpeechMike Pro or Classic, you can record great quality audio and eliminate any chance of distortion.
The built-in speaker provides the option of personal playback, so you can listen to the audio more discreetly rather than playing the audio back via the PC speakers. (SpeechMike also available with integrated bar code scanner that works with QS Recorder).
The SpeechMike and Olympus units connect to the PC using a standard USB connection.
