If the QS Downloader seems to take a long time to load the file list when you connect the portable recorder to the computer, here’s a suggestion that might help:
Once all the settings are configured for QS Downloader and QS Recorder, you can use the option for ‘Skip Check Device Settings’ to speed up the connection.
What happens now is that when you connect the DPM, the QS Downloader is reaching out to the Windows Registry and QSR user profile to verify settings, and with security software it tends to slow down the process.
If you enable this setting in QS Downloader, you should see an improvement with less time to connect the DPM and load the files in QS Downloader.
