Windows Firewall

  1. Go to Start.
  2. In the search box shown below, type in Windows Firewall.
  3. Click Windows Firewall from the results. You can also: Select Control Panel from the Start Menu.
  4. Click System and Security.
  5. Click Windows Firewall.
  6. Click Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall.
  7. Click Allow Another Program button.
  8. Click Browse button.
  9. Browse to Quikscribe program files, and select Quikscribe Recorder/Player applications. C:\Program Files (x86)\Quikscribe or C:\Program Files\Quikscribe – all programs/applications inside Quikscribe Player/Quikscribe Recorder folder have to be added.
  10. Click Add button.
  11. Click OK.
